I am using a managerial hierarchy approval for the GL ledger workflow. I have a couple of users who when they submit their journal for approval their workflow stops, and the below error comes up. They are setup with a personal number, assigned correctly with a supervisor.

Could someone assist with where to look, or a reason to why this arises for certain users only?

    Hi,

Very common issue is- the people who is in next hierarchy, they are not assigned with user- employee mapping.

They are assigned. I have a different user who reports to the same manager and that workflow works as expected.

Here are screenshots of the the positions. Emily is the user who errors out. When I route her to a different manager the same error occurs..

I just had this issue and as Ramit mentioned, it relates to missing user-worker mapping. To fix, I just assigned the worker to the user from within the user setup form (in my case it was a user that I set up quickly and missed this step, ooops).
