Microsoft Access Database engine 2010 and Dynamics AX 2012 R3

I'm currently working on update the version of Excel on our AOS batch server. Our firm pushed out the 32bit version of Excel 2016. When installing there is a conflict with the Microsoft Access database engine that is in 64 bit version.

Can I safely uninstall that version of access and replace it with the current download of Microsoft Access database engine 2010 "redistributable" 32 bit?
