Hello,

How can I approve the timesheet approval request in 1 go?

For example: I have a timesheet with 3 lines with similar project manager (example: John) and hence we want to approve all 3 together (john will click on approval request to approve all the timesheet of 1 person at a time)

For example: in the above case I am getting 2 notification for line 1 and line 3 and I have to approve them individually.

The ask is that can I approve both the request in 1 go?

Hi Ayu,

It seems that you have setup the timesheet workflow to using also line-item workflows. In that case, the approval is line by line. With help of some customization, it can become a multi-select. Depending on the situation, you can also consider only using the timesheet approval without line items. Then still it is possible to set up approval by multiple project managers. Depending on your environment, also this would require some customizations.

Hi,
The ability to approve multiple timesheet lines at once may depend on the specific workflow configuration, the system does not have OOB functionality for this, you can see if there are settings in the approval hierarchy to process multiple lines for the same employee in a single approval.

Hi aayushii,

Line-item workflow requires an approver per line, despite some of the lines are for the same timesheet and project manager. I would like to refer you again to my reply below for alternatives.
