State Changes to Payroll Tax - Should we manually update?

Posted on by 277

Many of our clients run payroll in WV and there was recently a tax rate cut signed and passed. There is no GP Payroll update yet to compensate for the new changes and I'm not even sure if there will be one until mid-year (if anyone has input on when those usually roll out, I'd love to know).

Has anyone faced this in the past? Did you recommend to just run current payroll tax rates and have employees get a bigger refund until the update appeared or did you manually update the tax tables?

Here are the changes we saw:

    Hey All,

This will be released in Round 3 on 4-17-2023.

Keep in mind, taxes are all estimates.

    Thank you!
