Good day,
The snapshot is a sales transaction from the Inventory Module, I can get the information I am looking for, I am using the document date range as August. But there are instances where an invoice may have a date outside of the period and when the user is looking via the Inventory module the results are incorrect when matched with the SOP information. When using SOP the user would use GL Post Date, my question is why would the GL Post date be blank , is it because the transaction wasn't initiated from Inventory?
I have been reading but I am seeing anything relevant.
What is the source of this snapshot - I don't recognize this as a posting report. Is this a SQL View or a Query you have created?
The GL Posting date may not be updated at this time (of snapshot) as it may still be a batch in the GL waiting to be posted - or the snapshot looking at the source may not be updating with the correct GL Posting Date field.
May be helpful to see or understand the source of the snapshot before commenting further.
Sorry, I pulled this via a smartlist Inventory Transactions.
Hello Rosemary,
The 'inventory transactions' smartlist pulls directly from the IV30200 table, so the GL posting date will only be populated for inventory transactions keyed in the inventory module. Therefore only IV transactions will have the date. If the document originated from SOP, then it will not be there.
Hope that helps,
Regards,
