Print Tax rate on PO

Hi, I try to print the tax rate on the PO. It works fine on the PO pro forma but if I print a PO confirmation the tax rate does not apear. Do you have any idea? Do I need to setup any parameter to get the tax rate on the PO.

If I look in the TaxJournalTrans, the column "TaxValue" is always 0. Is it normal?

Thanks

    Hi Mariano,

Yes I have the class PurchCalTax_PurchConfirmation. I set some break point but it seems never called. When this class is called?

  • RE: Print Tax rate on PO

Dynamics uses PurchCalcTax to calculate taxes in purch documents, I have seen that in my environment there is a new class in syp layer wich is PurchCalcTax_PurchConfirmation that extends PurchCalcTax_PurchOrder, I have KB2997599 installed wich includes a lot of modifications. Please, can you verify if do you have PurchCalcTax_PurchConfirmation class?

    Thanks Mariano for your reply.

First of all, I'm using AX 2012 R2 CU6. Yes SourceTaxAmountCur is informed but TaxValue is 0.

When I look in the code, the PO PROFORMA use temp table to get Tax information like the Tax Rate, but the PO Confirmation use a journal like TaxJournalTrans. It's seems that when the PO is post to the journal, the tax rate is not posted.

Do you know where is the code that post the tax to the journal? That's what I'm looking for to try to understand whats happening.

    Thanks

It is very strange, I have looked in a standard application (2012 R2 CU7) and tax rate is informed. As I understand, SourceTaxAmountCur is informed, but TaxValue is 0, I am right?

Does someone know witch class/method write the TaxValue to the TaxJournalTrans? When the TaxJournalTrans is updated? When a new purchline is added to a PO or when we click a confirmation button?

    Thanks
