Hi,

I want to know if we can restrict who can send an email on behalf of somebody?

in my case, I need that the assistant to send emails on behalf of their boss.

and not the entire company can do it.

currently its to be used to send emails from a marketing list.

I dont see options in the security for this specific setup, can anyone help me?

thanks :-)

    Hi Jerome,

Yes, i think it is possible through CLickDiemsnions. CLickDiemsnions 100% Dynamics CRM native platform to plan, manage, monitor and automate email campaigns.

if the user is given the appropriate rights and privileges he can conduct mass email campaigns and the Ower of that contact can receive email responses.

    sorry for the delay,

    thanks for the info.

but I need the restricted delegation in the CRM because campaigns are not the only communication channel.

sometimes the boss asks the secretary to send a single email to a specific contact.

Hi Jerome you can manage the user settings for sending out emails on behalf of any other user.

    1. Download and Install XRM Toolbox  https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/

    2. Withing XRM Toolbox - Install tool called "User Settings Utility"

    3. Connect it with your organization

    4. Select "Load Users and Settings" from the top to load all the user's settings

    5. On the right side you can manage the email settings. "Allow emails on my behalf" = "Yes/no"

Using this setting you can manage all the users and individually give them permission to send an email on their behalf. Hope this helps :)

    thanks,

    but its not my problem.

    my problem is:

I want to restrict who can send these emails in the name of another specific person.

like: the manager A authorize ONLY the empliyee B to send email using his name

the manager C allows ONLY the employee D to send emails using his name

employee B should not be able to send an email in the name of the manager C and the same for the employee D with the manager A.

apparently the only option available is a global yes/no option, and its not what I want.

oh, I see.. then the best option I can think of is to send an email based on a field value. And add a field security profile for those fields.
