salesOrders orderDate is wrong

Hello, new to BC, making PowerBi reports and I cannot wrap my head around this one.
In the cloud GUI, a sales order has [orderDate]=10/18/2023.
But when looking at the table (through Standard APIs v2.0)
the [salesOrder].[orderDate] is = 1/29/2024
 
Not only that !,  1/29/2024 shows up as either Posting Date or Document Date in the cloud GUI ?
 
what gives ?
