Hello All!

Please I'm uploading the budget using excel add-in and I'm getting this error message

Field 'Dimension values' must be filled in.Error found when validating record. Creation has been canceled.

Please help!

    I believe that in the account structure, you have not enabled "Allow Blanks" which is causing this issue.  Change the structure and import it

    Hi DammyT, if you have multiple account structure, select the proper structure in excel -> Dynamics AX -> options ->Default account structure.  Check the AOS connection too

    Are you typing the values or doing copy & paste...?

    In the past, we had issue with Copy & paste in Budget template.  We use to type the values or select it from the look-up to create new lines.  Try this approach to validate your configuration.  If it works, then the issue is with the copy

    Hi,

    I encountered the same error as DammyT while uploading our budget using excel add-in. Same as her, I was doing copy & paste. I tried to manually type in some of the lines and it went through. The thing is, I have thousands of budget entries so this solution will not work for me. Is there any other solution to this error?

    Yes the main accounts are all correct. The entries are more or less than 1,500 lines per month.
