Under Delivery PO - Error when posting Product receipt

Dear everyone,

I tried to use under delivery function in AX 2012, but when i chose "Receive now quantity" in Quantity field check in the "Close for receipt" check box in Lines tap when processing the Product Receipt. AX show 2 error message as below:

 -"Item XXX, quantity ordered cannot be reduced because there are not enough open inventory transactions with ordered status"

-"Item XXX, The item has been Purchased, Received or Registered"

Please noted that when i un-check the "Close for receipt" check box, i could received the Item normally.

Please advice me how to solve this issue?

    Can you check On-hand inventory for this item? what is the status of the PO?

    Hi Thu,

    What is the status of particular PO Item XXX transactions?

    For to short close, the status of the PO Line should be ordered. It should not be registered/received/purchased.

    If the status of the particular PO line is registered means, you just reduce the registered quantity which you are going to receive and balance quantity will be in ordered status.
