Error message while print and post a batch "You have one or more documents that must be posted before you post document number ------- based on your company;s number series

User is getting error message while print and post a batch "Ypu have one or more documents that must be posted before you post document number -------  based on your company's number series. User created General Journal batch and approved it and tried to print and post and getting this error. Any help to resolve this error will be appreciated. Note that user was able to post batches before this serial number.

    hi,

    Pls check your No. Series for posting document. and also check Sales Header table. If it contain value in Posting No." then this type of error is coming. Because in No. Series "Date order" check is activated.

    Thanks. The solution "Renumber the Document number " works for me

    Hi, Please check the No. Series settings below.

    Selecting "Allow Gaps in Nos." will solve the problem. But If "Allow Gaps in Nos." is not selected, you can choose Renumber Document Numbers to use the next number.
