Field Service Mobile - Issue with Notes Rich Text Format

Is there a way to let Field Service Mobile App interpret correctly HTML Tags on Work Order notes?

On a Work Order, Notes inserted with a Browser are stored in HTML format because we have enabled the configuration in System Settings --> General "Enable rich text notes in Timeline", this is fine and ok.

The issue arise when displaying notes stored via Browser on Field Service Mobile App where HTML tags are not interpreted.

On D365 I tried disabling the Rich Text on Notes through the System Setting configuration, everything works fine but all the notes historically inserted in Dynamics are now not interpreted on D365 Browser and this is not a good solution, do you have any suggestion? Is it a bug to be addressed to Microsoft?

Hi, as Pool said, you need to create a new Rich Text field as the description to the form. If you have more questions pls let me know.

For those of you having the same issue, here is the response I received from the Field Service Mobile App support:

Rich text is available starting with Woodford solution version v13.

Please follow these steps for enabling this capability

These steps use the “Notes” section on account entity as an example:

    1. Go to Note entity in woodford

    2. Remove existing description field from the form and add a new Rich Text field as description to the form

    3. Save and publish

    4. Sync FSM app and update the configuration

    5. Verify that rich text is working now.

I still have to try it and let you know
