Added landed cost ID under cards/inventory but no landed cost button shows up in receivings transaction entry

It seems once this id is created, we are supposed to be able to tag it throughout the purchasing process.  I do not see any fields or buttons associated with landed cost in the windows or in the item detail for the purchasing windows.  Any ideas why?

I found the answer to this is anyone is running into the same problem.  The landed cost module needs to be registered.  I looked around in the registration setup and found an item in there, and in our case, it was unchecked.  Perhaps this has to do with how the software was originally licensed.

Thank you, unfortunately, I have already tried that and switched to the dynamics window and it still is not showing up, modified or not.

Have a great weekend and thanks for your input.

    Hey Jwstano,

Thanks for the feedback offering the information I requested.

It looks as though you are using modified windows for the Receivings Transactions Entry window. I'd toggle this to the default GP window and see whether the issue remains. Administration >> Setup >> System >> Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports

If the issue is isolated to the modified window, then I'd work with whomever created the modified window to get the Landed Cost feature back in.

    Hope this helps!

Wishing you and yours healthy and happy days ahead.

    We are build 18.00.0672 (R2).

I did nothing more than set up the landed cost ids and I expect to see the option to add these ids to the shipment.  But it seems all references to landed cost do not exist.

    Hello Jwstano,

    Thank you for your post!

Could you clarify where in Cards >> Inventory you put the landed cost?

The following is my screen capture of the Receivings Transaction Entry window and Receivings Item Detail Entry window showing the landed cost option. Could you offer a screen capture of your windows?

What build of GP are you using?

I look forward to your reply when available.
