Dear All,
I've been looking into "Vendor Aging Report" to figure out how it populates data into temporary tables and I'm feeling like lost in between. Can anyone guide me in technical perspective which data tables system uses to fetch the outstanding balances for the vendor and then distribute among buckets? Because, I want to know the exact reason why and how system fetch those invoices which apparently does not fall in between the date parameters?
Let say, there is a vendor invoice "22xx" which was settled by 19th May, 2017 and in my opinion it shouldn't be in the result set if I run the "Vendor Aging Report" as of 31st May, 2017 but it does. I checked all the options in parameters (Transaction date, Document Date, Due Date) and the result is same. What are the significance of "Balance as of" and "Start Date" parameters?
Can anyone ever come across with this kind of situation? Please let me know if you have some?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Noor N.
P.S.: I already searched google but couldn't find any satisfactory conclusion that's why I posted here to have you guys view. :(

I have the same question (0)Hi Noor,
The details for the dates are stored in the table VendSettlement. You can check if the settlement date for this invoice is after May 31. If so, you can undo the settlement from the vendor details form and perform a new settlement and check the date selection during posting the settlement.
