is there a way to add /company/ field to existing data entity - general journal?

Can you use 'General journal account entry' data entity instead? It's there - called DATAAREA.

Hi D365 Newbie,

You can use the CDS Ledger journal line entity where the company and offset company fields are available.

Hi,
Company-related information is generally represented through the "Data Area" field. As everyone has mentioned, you might consider using another entity that contains a company instead.

Hello Andre Arnaud, your suggestion is promising, however, would you know when this specific Data entity is used?.

My goal is to get general journal lines together with the company. company which is the interco company as per d365.

Hi D365 Newbie,

When the data entity will be used, depends on your requirements. From your posts, I can't extract the when and why for your organization. You can use it for data export and import via data management, Excel add-in or other integration options using OData.
