When launching Transaction Entry i get an error that a previous transaction is still processing

Good morning i noticed that after selecting Purchases, Transaction Entry i get an error that a previous transaction is still processing

    Hello,
     
    There are two causes for this:
     
    1. Stuck record in the SY00800.
    2. Interrupted batch that needs to be cleaned up.
    The first suggestion, I provide on these is to clear the activity tables and see if this solves the issue. 
     
    1. Have all users log out of GP and all companies.
    2. When everyone is logged out, run the delete statements below as there should no records in these tables when everyone is logged out.

      DELETE DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY 
      DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00800 
      DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00801 
      DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK 
      DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION
       
    3. Log back in and determine if the error still occurs.
    If the error still occurs, you will need to dig into the Batch Table and Transactions in the batch to determine what clean up is needed to be made. The tables you will need to look at are:
     
    1. SY00500 - Batch 
    2. PM10000 - Transaction Work.
    3. PM10300 - Computer Check Work.
    4. PM10400 - Manual Payment work.
    5. PM20000 - Transaction Open.
    6. PM30200 - Transaction History.
    To do this, you will need to understand the table flow to determine what record is causing the problem and remove. 
     
    If you are unsure, I would suggest reaching out to your partner to assist with reviewing the data.
