Find Outlook tracked activities in Dynamics

Hi,

I would like to find E-Mails in Dynamics, which were created from e-mails in Outlook using the function Track. My scenario:

A Dynamics user receives an e-mail in Outlook
He/she selects it in Outlook and initiate tracking in Dynamics
I as admin can find this e-mail in Dynamics

Until now I have no luck in indentifying such e-mails in CRM. I cannot find neither one field nor any other data indicating, that the e-mail is originally from Outlook and it was created in CRM through track functionality.

Thanks for any ideas.

There is no specific field to indicate explicitly that it was tracked from outlook.

Because if an email is tracked, it can only be tracked via outlook.

It is tracked by a field called Regarding (regardingobjectid) via Dynamics 365 App for outlook.

This field relates the email entity to other entities through the track operation.

Of course it can also be tracked without regarding.

If the email is tracked automatically or by right-clicking the “Tracked To Dynamics 365” option, the regarding field will be empty.

If an email is tracked without regarding, this email will only be added to the activity list as a single record, with the regarding field empty.
