Hello Team,

I have the following doubts which need inputs

1) I have set up an email notification for a movement journal approval, using an organizational email template. There are 4 approvers in the workflow out of which anyone can approve. The email notifications are to be sent to 4 approvers instead the 4 emails are received by one person only 4 times. If I change the approvers to 2 from 4, then one person will receive 2 emails instead of both the people receiving one mail each.

2) How can we put the movement journal id or a link in the email? because I have put a plain HTML file saying "need your attention for approval". this link needs to be dynamic. Like the notification received in the notification center

3) The notifications in the notification center received are not showing the correct 'time ago', i.e. as soon as I click on submit button of the movement journal the approver will receive the notification in 2 to 3 min. but in the notification center, it says 6 hours ago, how to correct this?

Hi,

I wAS able to find out that under the users->user option -> Account -> Email provider selection there is a option to select the 'Email provider selection' and 'sender email' i had entered the same email id for the 4 user, after changing to the respective users, all the 4 users are getting the emails now

on debugging

1) I was able to find out that under the users->user option -> Account -> Email provider selection there is a option to select the 'Email provider selection' and 'sender email' i had entered the same email id for the 4 users, after changing to the respective users, all the 4 users are getting the emails now

2) the email template are not picking up the submission instruction and workflow instruction, the email template is having a body with only one line "need approval" only that text shows in the email and not the links id there any setup for this?

Dear Naveen,

For the link, on approval step work item instruction you can insert placeholder "Workflow.Link to web" as shown below.

In the HTML message body mention %message%

For point 3, change the time zone in user option.

To display some fields related to the document in your email template , you can make use of placeholders. Here are some examples

As for the link, what I do most time is to embed the ERP url in the html file. The link takes the user to work items assigned to me.
