Hello Dynamics Experts,

Can you please provide me help in creating custom view using JavaScript/webapi from 3 tables(Case->Account->Contact)

Requirement:

1) When an user opens CASE form there will be an account field lookup.

2) On hand side of the case form there will be a custom view.

3) In that contact custom view want to display linked contact related to Case -> Account to be displayed in Contact custom on CASE form.

    Hello,

I believe you can use suggestion 1 from this article - butenko.pro/.../

    Hi Andrew,

Have implemented your suggestion, but still can't see the contact related to account on Case Form

I'm sorry but "it doesn't work" screenshot won't help.

Can you please provide a step-by-step description of what you did - "I did everything you wrote in your post" is not a good description of steps.

    Steps Followed:

    1) From Classic solution explorer navigated to the account and created a new “Quick View” form. Placed the grid of CONTACT to it, save and publish the form

    2) Opened the “Case” form and add a “Quick View” form to it:

    3) Now its should display account related contact from opened CASE form, but it was displaying account

So I see 2 things you should take a look:

I believe in this case if you want to see all the contacts (and not only those that the current user owns) the view should be "Active Contacts".

It seems that in a "Quick View" selector you selected not the form you designed.
