Add departments group to Home menu

The client wants to have a button/link for "Financial Management" group of departments that is visible in home or as a separate Navigation panel item, so that they save one click instead of going through Departments>Financial Management.

So far I have found that Home items can only be of type "List Page", so it is not possible to add it through Customize Navigation options.
Creating a view for the page and adding to the Actions ribbon doesn't seem to be possible either.

Any suggestions how to do it? Maybe somehow add a direct link to "[company]/Departments/Financial Management"? Is it possible at all?

    The accounting manager role does give some of the options, but probably will need to add some of the department pages manually, as not all of them are listed as standard.

    I assume then there is no way to add a specific path node between departments group and department page item as a link in home.

    Kindly check standard role center and add required pages/reports in that role center.

    Apart from that you can create your own role center and assign to user.
