Quick Find View Not working for me

Hi Community,

I have encountered a strange issue today.wondering if anyone else is also experiencing this.

For a table I am unable to make the Quick Find View work.  I have tried this on a custom table and an OOB table like Lead.

Expectations
I expect that when I enter a text from a field which is configured should present that data in a format that matches the columns Ive added and removed in the Quick Find View.
But it is not working for me.

Am I missing something here?

Please help.

Hi, if I understood this correctly. You have modified the Quick Find View, to search text in a specific column(s).

Then when you search for text that you know is included in one of those columns, you are:
    1. Not seeing the records with that text
    2. Finding the record, but is it not showing the other columns you have added to the Quick Find view

    Is this correct?

If so, have you published the changes?

1.- If you click on the entity search box, you should see the list of columns it is using to find what you search, are you seeing the expected columns?

Also note that the tooltip is saying it applies a "begins with" could it be you are missing the wildcard?

2.- Note that search was changed a couple of years ago, using that entity search box will use the schema of the view you are currently on while applying the find to the columns configured in the "Quick Find View". If you want to have the old behavior you can:
    • Navigate to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/
    • Select the environment you want to update
    • Click "Settings"
    • Select Products -> Features
    • Find the "Search" section and you most likely don't have this option enabled "Use quick find view of an entity for searching on grids and sub-grids"
    • Enable that toogle and save your changes.

After that, when you use the entity search box, you should be redirected to your Quick Find view and the columns you have changed and published.

Thank you Luis Arellano. It was the settings  that needed to be changed "Use quick find view of an entity for searching on grids and sub-grids"("option no2 in your comment) that worked for me. Thanks heaps.
    Cheers.
