Importing of Sales Order Excel to NAV Issue

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I am trying to import the sales orders from excel to NAV using Rapid Start Service --> Conf. package. I have done the number series for my sales order doc number. When I export the package, one of the mandatory field is the document no. Whenever I try to export it is displaying error due to the doc. number, that the doc no. cannot be found.  Is there a way to implement new sales orders into nav through excel? Thank you for your kind attention

Regards,

Ganesh

You need to insert first Sales Header  and then import Sales Line

Please advise, as I am trying to do this method, and not XML port. Sorry hope you will help. Thank you for your kind attention.

You need to define document no as it is part of primary key and it has relation with Sale header.

I would suggest go for XMLPORT for importing Sales order.

    Hi Ganesh

If you want to import Sales Header and Sales lines using Rapid Start , you need to specify Document No. in your excel, if you don't want to use document no. in excel and wants to pickup form the number series create xmlport or write program to import data form excel

    Hi,

Do you want me take the screen shot of my full excel sheet? If it is, those are the records I have and created to import. If not do want the screenshot of my conf pack or other screenshot? Thank You.
