Modified Report does not present changes

ReportReport

I'm currently working for an end user running AX 2009. I received a ticket for a seemingly simple customization to the sales confirmation report. The objective is to hide the discount field and adjust the sales price to post discount price per unit when the customer group is one of two specific values. I updated the report in the DEV environment, ran it, and then exported the XPO. I brought it into the TEST environment, but I can't seem to get the AOS to let go of the old version. The XPO import went through with no errors. When I inspect the report in the AOT it shows the changes I made. I try saving and compiling the report. No change. I tried SysFlushAOD, Data, and Dictionary. Interestingly, when I put a breakpoint in one of the methods I modified the debugger presents me with the old code.

Is there a way to force AX to ditch its current copy of an AX report and redeploy from what is in the AOT? I know how to do this in 2012, but things are a bit different in 2009.

Is it a MorphX report or an SSRS report?

Sorry about the inconvenience. It appears that the issue was related to code changes in the usr layer. One of the methods (not customized in my xpo) was modified in the USR layer. For some reason, it was causing AX to toss my code. When I closed out MorphX and reopened it the code changes were gone when working in the CUS layer. So I updated my client config to log into the USR layer and imported the XPO there. Hey, now the report works. I think I'm going to export from the USR layer to gather all of the changes, delete all of the customization from the report in the USR layer, and then import it all into the CUS layer. That being said I am a bit disappointed since, in my mind, AX 2009 should have been able to merge the code across the layers.
