Dear Experts,

We are looking to upgrade our dynamics ax 2012 R3 to 365. The setup which we have currently that we want to be migrate with old database.my question is what all kind of customisation and new development we have done to our ax 2012 R3 that will be again updated or it will right there no need to be changed. Because our vendor is saying that all your customisation and new development will be recorded, such as reports and forms etc.

Many customizations from AX 2012 wouldn't work in F&O. Microsoft changed code that you may depend on, you may be using overlayering, AIF or other things that can't be used in F&O anymore. But you don't have to start from scratch either - most of your code and metadata probably can be upgrades. Here is the documentation page where you should start: Code migration and upgrade home page.
