We have a requirement from one of our customers to automatically create a dimension value based on a reference from a closed won opportunity in D365 for Sales, we don't want it to create a sales order because they are complex projects which are managed in a manufacturing system external to both D365 and BC, and we don't want to create a project code in BC because we want to track revenue and costs.
Could we do this via a Power Automate action based on a trigger in the database then update the dimension list or would it require an API call?
