How to Change General Entry Edit List and Transaction Entry Edit List Default Report Type from Template to Standard

Posted on by 7

Where can I find the option to set the STANDARD each time the user prints the report instead of template?

**Note, I could not find the reports listed under Template Configuration ether**

I encountered this same issue and found that having enabled the Include Multicurrency Info feature within the Posting Setup window is what triggered the Template to be used instead of the Standard.  Once I unmarked the option, Standard was given as the default when printing the edit list.

    Hello,

There are 2 things that I would check for this.

    1. In the Dex.ini if there is a line that says IsWebClient=TRUE, this can cause more reports/edit lists to print as templates than usualy.  If you set that to False, it would fix the issue if that was the case.

    2.  I would also check under Template Maintenance (Administration >> Reports >> Template Maintenance), look for these reports on the list.  Pull them up and if one is assigned to the company and set as default, unassign it from the company.

    I hope this helps!
