I have been going through and trying to determine how the geofence is being used and what is triggering the geofence event.
what is actually triggering when a user is inside or outside the geofence.
It looks like there is a process called msdyn_GenerateGeofenceEvent
But the time I can see it used is within this old resco flow. Flow - Update Resource Location From Resco Audit.
As far as I can tell they were checking if the location is newer than the last known location and then updating it.
But if that is false, then they trigger /generate geofence event/?
This does not make sense.
It still does not tell me how to identify if the user is inside or outside the geofence.
But I also cannot see what this used to be so perhaps this is the piece I am missing.
Does anyone have any infomation on how this is being determined.
