Greetings!
I have a scenario I'm hoping someone can help with.
I have a situation where our warehouse gets many online orders for the same item through the e-com site. These are all single line orders. Example: 50 different customers place a single line order for the same popular item.
Ordinarily, releasing these to the warehouse would result in either:
Since this item is all in the same location, our ideal scenario would be to do a single pick of 50, bring them all to the pack station, and let the packer sort them out into shipments.
I've tried various ways to group this on the work template, but the result is always multiple lines of "pick 1 ea". If anyone has any creative ideas - please share!
NOTE: I have a plan-B in case I can't sort out the above. That involves forcing the pick from a virtual empty location at the pack station, and using Demand-replenishment to move the products from the picking area to the pack station. This solves the initial problem but comes with its own complications. My preference would be to group the sales-picking into a single line somehow.
Thanks in advance!
