Would like to know if it is possible to add or change location code (not FA location) to fixed asset master without using configuration package?
User would like to know and I rather not have user use configuration package.

Hi, If you are using BC23 or later versions, you can display this field through the following method without customizing it.
Business Central 2023 wave 2 (BC23): Add existing table fields to optimize your pages (Adding Table Fields to Page without Page Extensions)

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

If you want users to modify it themselves, add the Location Code to the page using Page Extension. It is quite a simple task to do. You can ask your partner to do it, or you can do it yourself if you know a little bit about developing in BC.

if it is only for information purpose, consider using dimensions. set up dimension value to mirror locations.

Location Code is not really relevant to Fixed Assets as it is with Items.  It's not needed to transact on fixed assets.

But if you have a user that wants to populate it for informational purposes, you could always write a Page Extension to make it visible for users to edit - this would eliminate the need of updating the field using a Config Package:
