I have been trying to install the 2023 YE Update and it just won't install no matter what I do! What are the ramifications of closing PR YE with the 2022 YE Update?

We had previous instances of SQL installed so I tried the suggested procedures to force the installation to the specific instance we're using with no success. I then uninstalled other instances of SQL so the only 2 instances remaining are SQLExpress 2019 and SQLExpress UPS. Still no luck.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

For Canada, I had to run my YE before I did the update. Once the YE was complete, we did a backup, installed the software, reset the year end files, did another back up and then began 2024. I would expect that you can run your YE before you update.
