Does anyone know if Dynamics GP2018R2 is compatible with the latest version of Office (Office 2019, or Office 365 ProPlus)?

Yeah, it's compatible, but still, you're going to need to do an office 365 backup with the help of https://spinbackup.com/products/office-365-backup/ in order to store all your data in the cloud. I hope that everything will be well for you and your data. Never forget to do a backup.

I have been using GP 2018 R2 with the latest release of Office 365 and have not had any issues. Now, this is by no means an official pronouncement, but I suspect as time goes by and folks migrate off old versions of Office (and Windows), this will be less and less of a concern.

I haven't see any official requirements document which lists support for either Office 2019 or Office 365.

only Office 2013 and 2016 are listed as supported in the GP 2018 requirements.

I commented briefly with MS on this discrepancy in this thread. community.dynamics.com/.../304409

Basically i believe MS are saying it should work, however they have not received official advise from the developers that its supported (or tested).

    A few interesting points.

    - MS have previously released a Hot topic which detailed Office 365 support for both GP 2013 and 2015, this has not been updated with GP 2016 and GP 2018. (however one would assume that these GP versions are also included) mbs.microsoft.com/.../msdgpoffice365comp

    - Office 365 current builds have progressed past Office 2019 RTM builds. (so again one might assume if Office 365 is supported, Office 2019 should also)

    - Office 365, in the system requirements support numerous platforms (Windows 10, 8.1, 7.0, Server 2012, 2016, 2019)

    - Office 2019 is only supported on Windows 10 and Server 2019. (which might be the reason why MS are reluctant to include it in the GP requirements, as GP 2018 is still supported on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 etc, thereby creating a conflict with supported platforms)
