Locking project to a specific Category ID

Hello,

Is it possible to set up projects so that only certain items (numbers, Category IDs etc) can be issued to that project?

    Hi Jordan,

    There is out of the box no restrictions for individual items. For categories, you can setup Project/Category validations.

    You can read more here: docs.microsoft.com/.../about-validation-in-projects

    The documentation is for AX 2012, but still valid for Dynamics 365.
