EUR to GBP bank transfer won't work

I am on a US installation of GP and my functional currency is set up as USD. I have quite a bit of European business and bank accounts in multiple currencies. I can't transfer EUR to GBP as the system is telling me that my recipient bank account has to either be the same currency as the sending bank account or has to be the same as my functional currency, neither of which is true.

It looks like Cashbook Bank Management would solve my problem but it does not appear to be available to me on the US version of GP. Is there something on the US version that will give me the same functionality?
