Event ID 180 from .NET Business Connector 6.0

I have seen this on quite a few servers in the past.  I am finally getting around to trying to get rid of this error.  It seems everything is working just fine.  Has anyone had success in getting rid of this error:

"The description for Event ID 180 from source Dynamics .NET Business Connector 6.0 cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

Most of these are on AX 2012 R2 CU7 boxes.  The reason it has come up is an AOS stopped on a DEV server and just happened to glance at the Event Log and saw these all over the place.

@Kishior, is you situation really the same? ("Most of these are on AX 2012 R2 CU7 boxes.  The reason it has come up is an AOS stopped on a DEV server and just happened to glance at the Event Log and saw these all over the place.")

If so, please first install the latest kernel - CU7 is pretty old.

If your situation is different, please create a new thread and describe you problem, version of AX etc. there.

RPC exception 1726 means that a client can't connect to AOS. ax rpc exception 1726. If you both talk about the same problem (which is far from clear, unfortunately), this is the answer. Clients can't connect because AOS is down (as mentioned in ford_sopris's description), therefore this event is just a consequence of AOS being unavailable.

Same error with me in event Viewer 180, but I have 110 and 1000 errors(in Event Viewer) as well. The issue with me is AOS stop automatically.

    Best Regards,

    Shabir Ahmad
