365 CRM (Sales) Integration - Set Default Posting Groups for customers

Hi All

We have bidirectional integration setup with Dynamics Sales. When the customer (account in 365 Sales) is created in Dynamics Sales, we would like to find a way to default mandatory fields and other key fields such as dimensions. Is there a way to do this using templates? It looks like template are useful when the integration direction from BC to Sales? How do others solve this problem?

    In my case, I used Power Automate to fill default value for newly created Account on D365Sales/Dataverse.

    Hi, I agree with Inge.
    You can specifies a configuration template to use when creating new records in the Dynamics 365 business table (specified by the Table ID field) during synchronization on the Integration Table Mappings page.
