Marketing Form error- "To create a Lead, the Status Reason (statuscode) field should be included in your form and marked as required."

We get this error on our Marketing Form- "To create a Lead, the Status Reason (statuscode) field should be included in your form and marked as required." This is a system required field in D365 Sales, not sure why we would add this field to a form for the prospect to see of have to populate?

Hi Brennan

I've tried to reproduce your issue. Is the error shown below?

If so, go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System > Entity > Lead > Fields,

find the statuscode field and open it.

I will get the error in that screenshot when I set the Field Requirement to Business required.

So set it to Optional to fix the error.

Thanks Clofy, you were right. I neglected to look at Status Reason, looked at Status instead which is sys reqd. Much appreciated!
