Hi All,
I want to disable mark active button in workflow version form for particular user in D365FO.
Please check the below illustration.
Please let me know what role and Privileges we have to assign ?
Thanks & Regards
Rahul
Hi Rahul,
It is not about assigning a role but you will have to remove the access to this privilege. The access is generally granted if user has access to maintain any of the workflow configuration forms in different modules. The name of this privilege is WorkflowConfigurationActiveV6. I would suggest you check which all privileges this menu item is included and grants access. Based on that you will have to create your custom privilege without this menu item and add that privilege to user role instead of the one that is granting access to this menu item.
This requirement has something in it which is impossible. If you save a new version, there will be a question to make the new version active. This can't be prevented as it is a separate component in a dll which is handling this question. Removing the button is not removing the right for making the version active. So, or someone has access to all, or nothing in this case.
