Currently we are using Dynamics AX 2012 R3 with below configuration:
Windows Server 2012 R2 - AOS Server SQL Server 2012 - AX DB & Model DB Windows 10 and 11 - AX Client.
As you already knew that /Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Support has officially ENDED. Mainstream support officially ended on October 12, 2021 and only secure hotfixes were being provided through January 10, 2023.
So my concerns are below: -How long we can continue to work with Dynamics AX 2012 R3 ? -Currently our some clients have been configured on Windows 11 as well but we are facing some issues but not on all, anyone have any idea ? -What about above configuration if we to want upgrade specially our clients for e.g. windows 12 ?
You should be able to keep using the unsupported version. I still hear about customers running on versions like Navision Axapta 3.0. But of course, it's not ideal - no new features, no guaranteed compatibility with any new software, no bugfixes, no support... I wouldn't like to be in such a situation.
Regarding your problem with Windows 11, please create a new thread (with an appropriate title) and explain the issue in detail there.
I'm not sure what you want to hear about the upgrade to Windows 12, because it doesn't exist yet. But as discussed above, you won't get any guarantee about compatibility if you keep using unsupported software. I wouldn't expect problems with the client app, but it'll be up to you to test that it really works.
