Hi ,

Please advice . What could be the possible reason for retention not happening when we are creating Invoice Proposal from Project management and accounting module.

Retention functionality not working when creating Invoice Proposal from Project

Hi,
Before you can set up payment retention terms for a project, you must complete the following tasks:
Set up a general ledger account for posting customer payment retention amounts
Define a project category for customer payment retention transactions. This category must have a Fee category type.
Set up a number sequence for customer payment retention terms.
Additionally, you can check that all necessary information entered in the project management and accounting modules has been filled in correctly. This may include client information, project information, expense items, etc. Check that items related to the invoice proposal are in the correct status. For example, if the project has not yet been completed or closed, this may impact retention functionality.
