Configure Autopost for Quote closed / won / revised

Hi experts,

can anyone tell me how I can configure this autopost when someone closes / wins or revises a quote? We are using our own Quote Numbers so I would like to change this system Quote Number shown in the screeshot to our individual one.

I already searched for solutions, but when I go to Activity Feed Configuration in the Admin Settings there is absolutely nothing active for Quotes? Same for Activity Feed Rules - there is not even a rule for quotes.

Can anyone advise me? I've already invested some hours in it and can't seem to get anywhere close to solve this issue... Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,

The screenshot is a record of Quote Close entity, which is a kind of activities.

It will be created with the creation of a revised quote and its original status is completed(read-only).

So I created a flow in Power Automate to modify the subject of the Quote Close activity.

Trigger the flow when a record of Quote Close is created.

Get the fields of the related Quote record.

Modify the subject. Here in my example, I used the name of quote to instead of the ID. You can instead it with the individual field you want.

After saving the flow, the subject of the Quote Close activity can be shown as the following image:

Hi,

They are all records of Quote Close entity.

You can achieve the request in the same way, just by modifying the subject in the Flow with the status / status reason fields of the quote records.

Use the compose to get the specific status / status reason instead of their values.

The expression here is something like:

outputs('Get_a_row_by_ID')?['body/statecode@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue'] outputs('Get_a_row_by_ID')?['body/statuscode@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue']

You need to replace some of these with your own defined names as appropriate.

Insert the two outputs of the composes into the subject in order to replace the previously entered fixed value.

Then you’ll get the subject you want.
