Many Projects into One Invoice

Using D365 PO lite version

The natural order in my head is:

1 Quote = 1 Project = 1 Invoice

Can this be broken or split in any way?

Ex: Can I have say,  3 projects (same client) and when completed create 1 Invoice with all 3 project lines' in it?

And if you can, what issues might arise from using it this way?

    Juan - Hi.

    Invoices are against a contract. You can make a single contract and add to it a contract line for each of your projects. When you create an invoice you will get a line per project and underneath that are alll the details.

    If you put all projects on the same order (project contract), you can invoice them on 1 invoice. Invoices are always project contract specific. You can always then groom the billing backlog to only have stuff from project A if you want to leave out stuff from B and C.
