Amending a purchase order through drop shipment

Hi,

When using the drop shipment functionality, if you were to click on the open sales order, and go through the order > drop shipment > get purchase order, once the purchase order opens up, is there a way to amend the purchase order? Or must you open up the purchase order as a completely separate function.

    It is opened in a non editable mode.

    you need to open order separately.

    What are you planning to update on the purchase order ? Since the purchase order is associated with sales order you cannot much changes directly to it, you have to delete the line from the purchase line and make changes to the sales order and then re-run the function.

    The Purchase order is non-editable if you access it from line , you need to go to purchase - order processing and open the order from there.
