    Hi Ashok R,

Create inventory movement h journal and put the qty for item by negative , cost and choose specific account from offset account

Its the same as any other inventory issue, e.g. for consumables, or marketing samples, or engineering  spares, you just need to choose the scrap account as the offset rather a department/cost centre account.

    Hi Ashok,

If you want to write off the stock completely for items, I would suggest that you create a Counting journal for those 2 specific items you want to scrap, and then just enter 0 values in the counted column for each line. The system will then do an automatic adjustment to write off that stock for you.

If you want to write the stock off against a specific GL account, then I would recommend a Movement journal.
