Announcements
Hi!
In order to get ready for 2020 release wave 1 I've created a Sandbox to test the impact we might have due to Team license change.
I've created the Sandbox and updated to wave 1:
I've tried to install the Customer Service Team Member app following https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/dynamics365/customer-service/customer-service-team-member, but there's no mention to Customer Service Team Anchor in the Manage your solution page:
Am I forgetting something? Is it only my instance?
Any information is welcomed.
Thanks.
After few days, option to install appeared. So probably due to some internal update Microsoft team did.
Thanks.
Hi esbiete,
we had the same problem.
We wanted to install the "Customer Service Team Member Anchor" solution to test the "Customer Service Team Member app". But the solution was not available.
We opened a case with Microsoft and received the following response, "Our engineering team have changed licensing of the Team Member App, now it should be available by default."
After that, the solution was available and after installation, the "Customer Service Team Member app" appears on "Published Apps" site.
I think you must place a ticket too.
Best regards
No yet Mgoetz, and i've tried adding and removing other modules just in case there was a dependency, or changing language to English (I'm using Spanish), but no way right now. I will update the post if I get to figure out how to install it.
Paul, I'm perfectly aware of this, that's why I want to try it first, to see the limitations, as we have created some special forms and objects for case opening and I'm worried on the impact of this license change.
I am having the same issue. I enabled the 2020 Wave 1 for our Sandbox and applied the update but I am not seeing Customer Service Team Anchor under solutions. Did you manage to figure out why?
Are you aware that the App is for Self Service case creation only? So if your employee has a problem with their PC for example they can create a service request for your IT department. Customer Service Users will need a Customer Service licence, they can't use a team member licence as I understand it.
Regards
Paul
Hi Leo,
I don't feel like it is due to an expired tenant environment, but can be. How can I check it? I'm the end customer, just the licenses are managed throught a 3rd party partner.
Thanks.
Hi partner,
Please check if your tenant has been expired.
I tired in two environments with expired tenant and unexpired tenant, and the result is only the unexpired tenant environment has this solution.
It's a new environment and just upgraded to wave1.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Leo
