Is the Chrome Extension for capturing screen shots in Task Recorder worth using?
And is it really $25 per user?

The extension is free. You can download it from GitHub as mentioned in the documentation. Who told you to charge $25 per user?
Looks like I may have been on a scam site.
I deleted what I had there and loaded it a new and now it works fine,

Thanks for your replies. It is good that you asked the question. The extension offered by Microsoft is free on GitHub. Personally, I would not even consider buying something from the site you mentioned as there is no legal information about a "company" nor the persons behind the site are known.
