Hi CT-16051837-0,
Would all my users require an F&O license to print through DRA? I have users who are only licensed with Operations licenses who would not print financial statements, reports, checks, etc..
A] The answer is no. As Jonas rightly mentioned, you don't need additional operational licenses for printing financial statements, reports, checks etc.
If you are currently using the DRA client then recommend you have a dedicated service account and have the Document routing client role along with System user assigned to this service account.
Alternative option is to run the DRA,as a windows service with the same dedicated service account.
As Jonas rightly mentioned, one DRA agent can't handle printers/copiers requests. Consider, running the DRA as a windows service if the number of printers/copiers is spread across multiple sites or even if it is a single site. Have dedicated printers/copiers to perform the required tasks for printing financial statements, reports etc with a dedicated service account.
Would I be able to add Universal Printing for those users to reduce the amount of DRA agents/servers needed? Hopefully, this makes sense?
A] For one instance of D365 F&O you can only have one DRA agent and a server hosting the DRA agent. Lasernet, in this case has the ability to handle universal printing plus there are some standard reports that you can test using Lasernet.
Hope this helps. Happy to answer questions, if any.
