I am setting up a desired scenario where multiple lines are entered on a sales order and I am expecting this to create a single shipment at release to warehouse. (I have set this up before but am now having issues where each sales line is creating its own shipment.)
All sales order lines have inventory and are reserved. All are coming from the same warehouse and all have the same delivery date. I am not using shipment consolidation as I would like each sales order to be its own shipment. My work template has work breaks at the shipment level. My wave template is set to release at a threshold of 1.
Can anyone point me to what I may be missing?

Hi DPerko,
What about the delivery address for each line. If the delivery address are different then you will have separate shipment for each line.
More than likely the DeliveryPostalAddress on the Sales Lines have different values on each line.
So............. I asked a developer to debug this and it looks like we have an issue with our address records. The order lines look like they have the same address but the Address Book Rec Ids are different. This is more than likely the cause of my problem.
Thanks for the replies.
Thank you and I understand that I can but that is going to add a ton of additional steps that I know aren't needed.
Sorry about that - threshold of 1 shipment.
One additional note, I am using reservation as part of batch release (job). And I tried using the job first but am getting the same results (on the same order) if doing I from the form.
I know I am missing something simple but I can't figure out what it is.
Thanks
Dan
Wave template releases at a threshold of 1 what? Shipment or line?
How are you doing the release? Button on the Sales order, 'Release to warehouse' form or 'Release to warehouse' job?
