Hi ,
When I am trying to print a cheque from Accounts Payable journal with more than 15 transactions then the printer is not printing all the transactions in a single cheque.
E.g : If there are 40 transactions, then AX is showing that all the 40 transactions are coming in a single cheque, But when it's going to the printer then 3 cheques numbers are being used.
Can you share details about your check setup and configuration?
Many thanks,
Ludwig
Hi Anubha Gaur,
Can you please provide more information such as which version and build you are using? Also can you confirm how it shows when you export to PDF?
Note: This post is my own opinion and does not necessarily reflect the opinion or view of my company.
Thanks,
Sreepriya.
There are 2 banks in use. But for my issue, we are using Bank 1.
Bank 1 setup is
Bank 2 Setup is :
AX 2012 R3
getting PDF is difficult .
We can export to PDF by changing the setting to file.
Anyways, I just tried in 6.3.6000.149. Posting an invoice journal which has 45 invoices and selected it from payment journal through functions > settlement and below is the output when I generate the PDF file (I don't have access to printer right now). PDF and printer should work in the same way as far as I know. Also see the required setups I did. It will take the next page if the number is more and not fit in one page, by voiding the next check number and which is an intended behavior.
Here is the result.

For me PDF is not getting saved. I am following the below step.
Step 1 : On generate payment form > Click on "Dialog" button.
Step 2 : Then click on "Payment advice" button.
Step 3 : Select the path
But no PDF is getting saved in the folder.
Also I changed check setup.
Are you generating payment advice report? You need to click on 'Document' and set the file format as pdf to get checks printed in pdf.
Hi Sreepriya,
I tried "document" option also. Still there is no PDF getting saved . :(
That surprises me. This is a normal function like any other document that we save (not only in Ax) in any particular location. Once the file gets generated, it even shows the message regarding the location where file has been saved.
Check if you have any customizations which is blocking this. Else check in any other system. If still the behavior is same, take some technical person help to sort out the issue.
Hi Priya,
I do not get any message .
Sure. I will check with technical person . Many thanks for your help.
