cancel picked item, add back to inventory

Greetings AX dynamics team,
I need to unpick an item in a sales order, so that it reverses the QTY back to inventory.
i tried pick and pack -> packing slip -> cancel.
but the problem is it will delete all the lines with it.

is it possible to only unpick particular item from sales order?

also how should i verify wheter the unpick is successfull.
currently the issue status is "picked" in SO line->updateline->process->pick
i think issue status will be "on order" once successfull?

Has the packing slip already been posted or have you only picked the items?

Hi,

Please try the following:

Open the picking list journal

Select picking list registration

In the lines section select functions - unpick
