Hello everyone,
I want to know is there any procedure to rollback the deployment package from production other than deploying the previous version in case of any issue? Asking this because I am going to deploy the first package from sandbox to production and I don't have any previous version so please advise what should we need to do in case of any issue after the deployment.
Thanks
Hi Muhammad,
If this is the first package and you would need to remove the customizations, you can follow the guidance as mentioned in the documentation: Uninstall a package - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
Note that you should perform proper testing in the sandbox before moving the package to your production environment.
Hi Andre,
I had reviewed this and want to confirm, in the heading "Uninstall a Package" (point 2) it is mentioned that
"In the file, put the name of each module that you want to remove on a separate line. Make sure that you've completed the prerequisites for each module that you're removing."
So here the word module means the complete model which we need to remove and that model name need to be enter in the text file "ModuleToRemove.txt". Is this understanding is correct?
Correct. You must list the model names.
